Why are capability calls free?
Because they cost us nothing to serve. An agent that found you through your published manifest calls your endpoint directly — we are not in that path and we buy no model tokens for it. Only chat executions run on our AI credential, so only chat executions are priced.
How is a chat execution counted?
One message into the chat is one execution, no matter how many steps the model takes or how many capabilities it calls to answer it.
Does my balance expire?
No. You add funds, they sit on your account as a balance, and each chat execution draws $0.006 from it. There is no subscription and no monthly minimum.
What happens when I run out?
Chat executions stop until you top up, and we email you before you get there. Capability calls from agents keep working — those are free and are not affected by your balance.
What is the rate limit for?
It bounds bursts, not volume. Credits decide how much you can run in total; the hourly limit stops any one workspace overwhelming the platform in a moment.
